Is It Possible To Have A Breast Lift Without Breast Implants?

The quick answer is yes, it is possible to have a breast lift without breast implants. Though there are several considerations to determine which option is right for you:
A.) A breast lift without breast implants
Some of Dr. DeMars patients feel they need a lift because of drooping after a pregnancy, weight loss, or simply the passage of time. Those patients that are pleased with their overall breast volume but are not happy with the breast shape, and prefer to avoid implants, can reach their goal of a more youthful look to the breasts with a breast lift operation. This restores a nice look to the breasts by moving the nipple up, taking away some of the sagging skin, and moves the breast volume up too.
B.) A breast lift with breast implants
As Dr. DeMars discusses with his patients during their consultation, breast lifting restores the shape to the breast but does not yield a larger cup size and can, if desired, even reduce the cup size slightly, although it is not a formal breast reduction. Breast implants are placed to restore lost volume or add volume to a breast that is too small to suit the patient, but the placement of implants alone creates little or no lift.
C.) A breast augmentation without a lift
Women with smaller breasts, that have deflated after pregnancy, may be suited for a breast augmentation without a lift. (This can be determined during a consultation.) Small breasts are enlarged with the placement of breast implants through a small incision, and helps restore or increase volume and shape. This good news for the patient that wants to limit scars.
